Description
Handmade using traditional carpentry methods – our freestanding kitchen base cabinets are 100% solid new oak throughout for a long lasting kitchen. Cabinets and sink units can be used free standing or positioned together to make a run of units. All cabinets are made and constructed in our Winkleigh workshop so don’t go thinking you have to assemble any parts!
Features include:
Solid Oak – no MDF, Veneer, chipboard or similar
50mm Framework for each individual cabinet
60mm Contemporary Shaker frame work on the doors
All drawers are a flat, flush fit
All cabinets have an 80mm recess at the rear to allow for service pipes etc
All cabinets are 900mm overall height (without any worktop)
All cabinets are 600mm overall depth
Cabinets with internal shelves come with a 300mm deep x 20mm thick fixed shelf
Drawers where applicable are approximately 210mm high externally and 180mm internally. The internal depth (front to back) is approximately 380mm
All unit have a recess of 100mm High for the plinth – cabinets can be supplied with loose plinth, fitted plinth or no plinth – we offer full external or recessed toe line plinth. This is added per order.
Units can be supplied unfinished, wax polished + oiled or straight oiled
Oak wooden knobs can be supplied loose or fitted as per order or cabinets can be supplied without handles as preferred. Other handle choices are available and priced separately.

A choice of worktop – Beech Long grain, Oak Long grain, plank oak, slate or granite. All worktops are priced individually. We also offer a full templating and installation service for worktops within a 30 mile radius of Winkleigh, Devon. As we use solid oak throughout, the cabinets are quite heavy so please ensure you have adequate help on delivery to move them into place. For a delivery quotation, please proceed to the checkout and request a delivery quotation for the items you require.
