If you’re looking to transform your existing driveway, patio or even wish to create a quaint courtyard then look no further. Winkleigh Timber’s stock of natural stone materials offers a wide selection of colour and texture to choose from. So, not only can you create the look you require but the materials will be able to withstand the British weather and high traffic areas.
Traditional granite setts or more widely known as ‘cobbles’, have been in use since the early days of horses and carts. Widely used in the past, the light, silver-grey setts from Cornwall are still evident in many old and cobbled streets. Our granite setts are a similar light, silver-grey colour which enables you to re-create some of the more traditional features from years gone by. They are ideal for small garden walls/boundaries, driveways, courtyards or garden pathways; they soon weather in and look like something from the past.
In contrast, we have natural Indian sandstone available in three colours. These make a highly popular choice for garden patio areas or pathways. Available in various sizes, you are ableto create a pattern or simply have a random theme. Our sandstone slabs are all cut by hand and have a slightly riven effect to blend into the natural surroundings. We also have sandstone circles to create a centrepiece within your patio if required.
Complementing our range of driveway and patio materials, we also offer solid granite gate posts, kerbs, quoins, bollard and spheres. If you are interested in our driveway materials then why not get in touch and see what we can do for you?
