Whether it is a new build, property renovation or some home DIY, Winkleigh Timber’s building materials will have something to offer your project. Boasting large stocks of slate and granite materials – gate posts, kerbs, quoins, bollards, handmade bricks, window cills and oak beams to name just a few.
Traditionally popular with local carpenters for our timber, we are becoming increasingly called upon by many local tradespeople as well. Due to demand, Winkleigh Timber’s range has expanded over the years – sourcing many natural products that not only look great but stand the test of time as well.
For those looking to create externally, we offer a range of sizes in our granite kerbs and gate posts which also complement our granite setts – very traditional for a driveway or courtyard. Our roof slates travel nationwide; they are superb quality and are available in a range of sizes. Using out local pallet line service, they are easily transported, so there is no need to worry about distance! Again, to complement the slate roof tiles, we also offer slate window cills and external slate flagstones too.
Unlike many firms, at Winkleigh Timber, we have our own in-house Stone mason team who can machine both slate and granite to template – be it for a fireplace hearth, kitchen countertop or simply a stock item cut to your size. Our local firm, Rangemoors, supply some wonderful wood burners, external ovens and false flame fires which all look superb paired with our natural surround.
