Our slate top tables offer something a little out of the ordinary. Slate is not just for fire hearths and kitchen worktops! The lovely smooth finish of our Brazilian slate makes the ideal surface for your kitchen table or dining room even.
All of our slate material is 30mm thick and machined here on site to size for you. With a beautiful pencil round edge and softened corners, you will just want to keep running your hand over it. Finished with Lithofin slate finishing oil or stain stop for a long lasting and stain resistant table top.
Slate top tables are ever so popular for those with a busy lives who just need a quick wipe over and go!
Available in three main size although, should you have a specific size in mind, we can price separately for you. Likewise, with the base design, this could be altered to one of our other bases if something catches your eye. Please do let us know and we can offer a quotation. painted bases also create a nice contrast with the slate.
Our Brazilian slate is generally a Blue/grey which darkens with the addition of oil/stainstop. Natural markings in the slate are variable from sheet to sheet – some pieces can be reasonably plain and others have a lovely mottled affect. We can select each piece unfortunately therefore, it is a variable top.
